Itinerary


Day 1:- Arrival in Guwahati


Your Assam trip start with GTH will start from the Guwahati Airport/station (whichever of your choice) in Assam which would be your onward destination. After getting freshened up and some rest, you will be taken on a pilgrimage tour to Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple and Balaji Temple. For dinner and overnight stay, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 2:- Guwahati to Shillong via Umiam Lake


In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast. After check-out of the hotel and be ready to commence a 99 km drive to the beautiful hill station of Shillong in Meghalaya. The entire drive would take around 3-4 hours to complete. En route, the gorgeous lake of Umiam, also known as Barapani. Barapani is the largest artificial lake in Meghalaya. Whereas, Umiam is known for its picturesque surrounding which includes Sylvan Hills.Upon arrival in Shillong, you will be accommodated in a pre-booked hotel in Shillong. For the rest of the day, you will be free for your leisure activity. You can either choose to explore the nearby region on your own or you can just opt to stay inside your hotel room to relax and unwind. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at the hotel.

Day 3:- Shillong to Cherrapunji


In the morning, you will be served with a delectable breakfast. After having breakfast, be ready to commence an excursion to the second wettest place on earth - Cherrapunji. The drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji takes around 2-3 hours to complete.En route, visit the gorgeous Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Thangkharang Park. After done sightseeing tour of Cherrapunji, head back to Shillong.On the way to Shillong, visit the spectacular Elephant Falls and the much-famous Shillong Peak. From the peak, you can capture the surreal views of the surrounding.Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4:- Shillong to Mawlynnong to Dawki to Shillong


The day will start with a morning Breakfast. Followed by this, you will be taken to the cleanest village in Asia - Mawlynnong through a 78 km road drive. In the East Khasi Hills, Mawlynnong is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the region and is a popular ecotourism destination in Meghalaya.The next stopover of the day will be Dawki. In the West Jaintia Hills, Dawki is a hidden treasure of Meghalaya which is known for its sublime beauty; the clean and beautiful Umngot River being a significant part of it. Once done exploring the town of Dawki, you will be taken back to Shillong. On the way, you will have the chance to visit the spectacular Root Bridge.Upon arrival in Shillong, you will be accommodated back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:- Departure


Post breakfast, be ready with your backpack to be driven back to your onward destination. Tour ends with unforgettable memories to cherish for a long.

  • There is no Contract between the company and the client until the company has received the initial deposit amount per person as specified for each tour package. The full payment must be received in accordance with procedures laid down under Payments Terms. If not paid in that time, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking with consequent loss of deposit and apply scale of cancellation charges as mentioned in the cancellation policy here under.

  • To amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion or facility it has advertised or published or to substitute an Independent Contractor of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case, the Company shall not be liable for any damage, additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the Clients or for any compensation claims made.

  • It is clear understanding between either parties that any loss arising on account of cancellation of flight / train / bus tickets booked by the Clients; either through the Company or on his/her own or through a third party; the Company shall not be liable for such losses or additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the Clients.

  • No person other than the Company, in writing, has the authority to vary, add, amplify or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition in this brochure.

  • HEALTH & SAFETY The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever will be liable to the Client or any person traveling for: Any death personal injury, sickness, accident, loss , delay , discomfort ,increased expenses, consequential loss and / or damage or any misadventure howsoever caused Any act, omission, default or Independent Contractor or other person or be any servant or agent , employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facilities or service for the Client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused.

  • Any claim or complaint by the Client must be notified to the Company in writing within 7 days of the end of this holiday tour. No claim notified to this Company beyond this period will be entertained and the Company shall incur no liability whatsoever in respect thereof.

  • INSURANCE The tour cost does not include the costs towards the insurance premium. Hence, it is advisable that the clients get insurance cover at their own costs. However, please note that the Client has to deal directly with the insurance providing company in case of settlement of any claims whatsoever.

  • FORCE MAJORED Acts of god (including exceptional adverse weather conditions), earthquake, fire , war (declared or undeclared), invasion, rebellion, revolt, riot, civil commotion, civil war, nuclear fission, strike, act(s) of omission/commission by any concerned government(s), or government agencies, judicial or quasi-judicial authorities, occurrence of any event can force the Company to change or extended. Hence any additional expenditure occurred due to the above reasons the same will be borne by the passengers.
