Itinerary


Day 1:- NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Mirik (55 km / 2 hrs)


Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, you will meet our representatives, and straight away drive to Mirik. Located at an elevation of 2050m, Mirik is listed amongst the most popular places to visit in West Bengal. Upon arrival at Mirik, you will be transferred to hotel. The evening will be free for leisure; you can indulge in shopping or can go for boating at the Sumendu Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Mirik hotel.

Day 2:- Mirik – Darjeeling (49 km / 2 hrs)


Munch a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then en route to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.) via Indo-Nepal Border. On arrival at Darjeeling, you will be transferred to a hotel for some rest. After some rest, you can go for a leisure walk or go to mall road to purchase Chinese knock-off, silver prayer wheels, masks, thangkas, etc. Afterwards, head to the hotel for dinner, followed by a stay.

Day 3:- Darjeeling Sightseeing


Early morning, embark on a jeep journey to reach Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.), which is famed for offering the view of Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft), the third largest peak in the world. After spending few minutes at the tiger hill, you will be going back to the hotel via Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop. At the hotel, you will indulge in a hearty meal and then embark on a drive to explore further attractions of Darjeeling. Today, you will be going to explore Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. The highlight of the day will be a ropeway, from where you can enjoy the spectacular view of valley bedded with lush green tea gardens and dense forest. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you can go shopping and pick up some flavourful tea and Tibetan artifacts. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4:- Darjeeling – Pelling (80 Kms / 4 hrs)


This morning after breakfast transfer to Pelling (6,300 ft.) via Singla Check post. If you wish to see the most beautiful view of Kanchenjunga mountain, don't skip Singla Check post. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 5:- Pelling Sightseeing


Post breakfast, you will go for a sightseeing tour in Pelling. First, you will visit the Darap Village, where you can meet and greet people of Limbu community. Next stop will be Khecheopalri Lake, which is one of the largest and biggest lakes in Sikkim. Most amusing part of the lake is that it remains clean, without even a leaf on its surface, despite of the fact that it is surrounded by lush green forest. Locals say that even if the leave falls on its surface, the birds pick it up immediately. Also in the first half, you will visit the Rimbi water Falls and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. While in the second half of the day, first you will visit the Pemayangtse Monastery. One of the oldest monasteries in India, Pemayangtse Monastery, houses many sculptures, idols and paintings. Also, you will visit the Rabdantse Ruins and New Helipad Ground. Stay and dinner at the Pelling hotel.

Day 6:- Pelling – Gangtok (150 km / 5 hrs) via Chardham


On the sixth day, after breakfast, travel to Gangtok, Sikkim's modern capital. Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival in Gangtok, you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 7:- Gangtok Local Sightseeing


In the morning, after breakfast, you will be visiting Gangtok (5,500 feet), Sikkim's modern capital. On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to the hotel. As per the itinerary, today you will be visiting Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. View of the mighty Kanchenjunga from the Tashi View Point is something you will not forget throughout your life. From Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, shopaholics can pick some carpets, traditional motifs, blankets, shawls (in Lepcha weaves), 'thangka' paintings, graceful 'Choktse' (hand carved foldable tables), hand-painted masks, dolls and many other objects. You will also visit Enchey Monastery, which is considered sanctified because it is believed that the protecting deities, Khangchendzonga and Yabdean reside in this monastery. Afterwards, return to the hotel with your heavy shopping baggage for dinner and stay.

Day 8:- Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir


In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, go for the city sightseeing tour. First, you will visit the sacred Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.). According to one of the locals, it is supposed that in ancient times, Buddhist monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Afterwards, you will visit Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 km from Gangtok. Baba Mandir in made in the honours of Harbhajan Singh (also revered as the Hero of Nathula) was an Indian Army soldier who died in 1968 near the Nathu La. Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9:- Gangtok – Lachen (107 km / 6 hrs)


After breakfast check out from the hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,500 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachen check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 10:- Lachen – Chopta Valley – Gurudongmar Lake- Lachen


From Lachen, board your jeep, which will take you to Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.) and Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.). According to a legend, Gurudongmar lake remains frozen most of the year and its water cannot be used for drinking purposes. After the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel in Lachen for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 11:- Lachen – Lachung (45 km / 2 hrs)


From Lachen, you will embark on a drive to Lachung, which will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival in Lachung, you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 12:- Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion + Zero Point- Lachung


Post breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft), which is also known as the valley of flowers. On your way back to the hotel from Yumthang Valley, you will be visiting a hot spring, which is believed to have some medicinal properties. Head back to the resort for lunch, check out and head towards Gangtok. Also, you will visit Zero Point, which is quite close to Indo-China border. Afterwards, you will head back to the hotel in Lachung for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 13:- Lachung – Gangtok (103 km / 6 hrs)


After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a drive to Gangtok (5,500 ft.), which is 103 km from Lachung. During the journey, you will come across Singhik viewpoint. On arrival in Gangtok, check in the hotel for overnight stay, Evening will be free for leisure.

Day 14:- Gangtok – Kalimpong (75 km / 3 hrs) Sightseeing


Post breakfast, you will drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival in Kalimpong, you will be transferred to hotel to relax and get acclimatise to the weather. After lunch get ready for the city sightseeing tour. Today, you will visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr Graham's Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill & Pine View Nursery back to the hotel. After the completion of the sightseeing tour, head to the hotel for dinner and stay.

Day 15:- Kalimpong – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (75 km / 3 hrs)


After a lavish rest, get up in Morning for breakfast. After concluding your meal, pack your bags as your ride awaits. Get your ride back to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Return home with cherished memories of North Sikkim tour.

  • There is no Contract between the company and the client until the company has received the initial deposit amount per person as specified for each tour package. The full payment must be received in accordance with procedures laid down under Payments Terms. If not paid in that time, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking with consequent loss of deposit and apply scale of cancellation charges as mentioned in the cancellation policy here under.

  • To amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion or facility it has advertised or published or to substitute an Independent Contractor of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case, the Company shall not be liable for any damage, additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the Clients or for any compensation claims made.

  • It is clear understanding between either parties that any loss arising on account of cancellation of flight / train / bus tickets booked by the Clients; either through the Company or on his/her own or through a third party; the Company shall not be liable for such losses or additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the Clients.

  • HEALTH & SAFETY The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever will be liable to the Client or any person traveling for: Any death personal injury, sickness, accident, loss , delay , discomfort ,increased expenses, consequential loss and / or damage or any misadventure howsoever caused Any act, omission, default or Independent Contractor or other person or be any servant or agent , employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facilities or service for the Client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused.

  • Any claim or complaint by the Client must be notified to the Company in writing within 7 days of the end of this holiday tour. No claim notified to this Company beyond this period will be entertained and the Company shall incur no liability whatsoever in respect thereof.

  • INSURANCE The tour cost does not include the costs towards the insurance premium. Hence, it is advisable that the clients get insurance cover at their own costs. However, please note that the Client has to deal directly with the insurance providing company in case of settlement of any claims whatsoever.

  • FORCE MAJORED Acts of god (including exceptional adverse weather conditions), earthquake, fire , war (declared or undeclared), invasion, rebellion, revolt, riot, civil commotion, civil war, nuclear fission, strike, act(s) of omission/commission by any concerned government(s), or government agencies, judicial or quasi-judicial authorities, occurrence of any event can force the Company to change or extended. Hence any additional expenditure occurred due to the above reasons the same will be borne by the passengers.
